To Communicate With You (With Your Consent): To send you important updates about our Services, security alerts, newsletters, invitations to participate in surveys or early access programs, or respond to your support requests and inquiries. You will only receive marketing communications if you have opted in.
To Comply With Legal Obligations: To meet our legal and regulatory requirements, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, and protect our legal rights.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
QuantLink is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
With Service Providers and Partners: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting providers (e.g., for our off-chain AI processing and web infrastructure), data analytics providers, security service providers, and communication tools. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are only permitted to use it in accordance with our instructions and for the services they provide to us.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:
Comply with a valid legal obligation, subpoena, court order, or other lawful request from government authorities.
Protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of QuantLink, our users, or the public, including enforcing our terms of service and investigating potential violations.
Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
In Connection with Business Transfers: If QuantLink is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be shared or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal data.
With Your Explicit Consent: We may share your information with other third parties if you have given us your explicit consent to do so.
Anonymized or Aggregated Data: We may share anonymized or aggregated data (which cannot be used to identify you) with partners for research, statistical analysis, or to improve our Services.
4. Data Security
QuantLink implements and maintains robust technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include, but are not limited to:
Advanced Encryption Protocols: Utilizing strong encryption for data in transit (e.g., TLS/SSL) and at rest. We are actively researching and planning for the integration of post-quantum encryption protocols where feasible to future-proof data security.
Secure Infrastructure: Leveraging secure cloud infrastructure with strict access controls and network security configurations.
Enclave-Based Execution (Planned): For highly sensitive operations, such as certain AI model computations or private data processing, we plan to utilize enclave-based execution environments (e.g., Intel SGX, AWS Nitro Enclaves) to provide hardware-level isolation and protection.
Access Controls and Least Privilege: Implementing strict access controls and the principle of least privilege to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to personal data, and only to the extent necessary for their roles.
Regular Security Assessments: Conducting regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and smart contract audits (including through our own ContractQuard tool and third-party auditors) to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
Incident Response Plan: Maintaining an incident response plan to address any potential data breaches or security incidents effectively.
Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your wallet credentials (private keys, seed phrases) and for taking appropriate precautions to protect your personal information.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. QuantLink is committed to facilitating these rights:
Access: You may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification: You may have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Erasure (Deletion): You may have the right to request the deletion of your personal data (e.g., optional contact information, account information not intrinsically tied to immutable blockchain records). Note that data recorded on public blockchains (like transaction history or your wallet address) cannot be deleted by us.
Objection to Processing: You may have the right to object to certain types of processing of your personal data.
Restriction of Processing: You may have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Data Portability: You may have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at: contact@quantlinkai.com (or a similar official QuantLink privacy email address). We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and for service improvement and security purposes.
Wallet-based access logs and anonymized usage data may be retained for up to 12-24 months for security auditing, system improvement, and analytical purposes, after which they are further aggregated or deleted.
Optional contact information (e.g., email address for newsletters) is retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the information is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
Smart contract code submitted to ContractQuard may be retained for a limited period to allow you to access your analysis history and for our internal quality assurance, model training (on an anonymized or aggregated basis with consent where appropriate), and service improvement. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country. By using QuantLink's Services, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in countries outside your own, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We will take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal data remains protected.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information from our records. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal or regulatory requirements, or our data handling practices. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website, and for significant changes, we may provide a more prominent notice (such as by sending you an email notification, if you have subscribed to communications). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of our Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
